You will support learners to develop industry-standard practical skills alongside essential theoretical knowledge and professional behaviours, preparing them for employment, apprenticeships or further study. This role offers a varied workload, combining practical workshop delivery with classroom-based teaching in a vibrant Further Education environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality teaching across Catering, Hospitality and Patisserie programmes from Level 1 to Level 3 Plan and deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons Develop learners' technical skills, knowledge and professional behaviours Demonstrate current industry standards in food preparation, cookery, bakery, pastry and customer service Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback to support achievement and progression Track learner attendance, progress and attainment Maintain accurate learner records and required documentation Support learners to achieve their qualifications and career goals Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, equality and food hygiene requirements Create an inclusive and inspiring learning environment where learners can thrive Essential Qualifications & Experience Applications will only be considered from candidates who meet ALL of the following essential criteria: Mandatory Requirements Recognised Teaching Qualification (Level 3 or above) - ESSENTIAL Previous teaching, lecturing, assessing or training experience Level 3 qualification (or above) in Catering, Hospitality, Professional Cookery, Bakery, Patisserie or a related discipline Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification Recent and relevant industry experience within Catering, Hospitality, Professional Cookery, Bakery or Patisserie You'll Also Need Excellent communication and organisational skills A passion for education and learner development The ability to inspire, motivate and support learners from a range of backgrounds An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the DBS Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one Important Applicant Information If you do not hold a recognised teaching qualification, please do not apply as your application will not be progressed.
