This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Hair and Barbering professional with teaching experience to support learners in a Further Education setting. Job Details Position: Hair & Barbering Lecturer Bolton College Contract: Temporary until 16th December 2026 (anticipated to extend) Pay Rate: £27.71 - £32.00 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay Working Hours Monday: 1:00pm - 5:00pm Tuesday: 4:30pm - 8:30pm Wednesday: 10:30am - 11:30am & 3:30pm - 6:00pm Thursday: 1:00pm - 3:00pm & 4:00pm - 9:00pm Friday: 9:30am - 12:00pm & 1:00pm - 3:00pm The Role As a Hair & Barbering Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to learners across Hairdressing and Barbering programmes. You will support students to develop both their practical and theoretical knowledge, helping them achieve their qualifications and progress within the industry. Key responsibilities include: Delivering high-quality teaching and learning sessions. Planning, preparing and assessing learner work. Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback. Maintaining accurate records and documentation. Supporting learners to achieve their full potential in a safe and inclusive environment. Requirements Applicants must have: A minimum Level 3 Teaching Qualification . A Level 3 Hairdressing qualification . Relevant industry experience within Hairdressing. Desirable: Level 2 Barbering qualification . Previous Further Education teaching experience. Experience delivering Hairdressing and Barbering qualifications.
