Health & Social Care Lecturer

Location: Bolton College
Contract: Flexible Ongoing Temporary Assignment
Hours: Part-Time, Flexible Teaching Hours Available (Minimum 8 Hours Per Week Expected)

Pay Rate: £30.00 - £32.00 per hour (Inclusive of Holiday Pay)

Bolton Talent Solutions, working in partnership with Bolton College, is seeking passionate and experienced Health & Social Care Lecturers to support the delivery of Level 3 Health & Social Care programmes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teaching professionals with sector experience to join a supportive Further Education environment on a flexible, ongoing basis. You will play a key role in helping learners develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to progress into higher education, apprenticeships or rewarding careers within the health and social care sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons to Level 3 Health & Social Care learners
  • Prepare students for assessments, assignments and qualification achievement
  • Monitor learner progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
  • Support learners to achieve their academic and career aspirations
  • Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Uphold safeguarding, wellbeing and learner support practices
  • Complete associated assessment, administration and curriculum-related duties
  • Work collaboratively with curriculum teams to ensure outstanding learner outcomes

Essential Requirements

  • Recognised teaching qualification (AET, PTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent)
  • Relevant Health & Social Care qualification at Level 3 or above
  • Industry experience within the Health & Social Care sector
  • Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for education and learner development
  • Commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion

Desirable

  • Previous teaching experience within Further Education
  • Experience delivering Level 3 Health & Social Care qualifications
  • Knowledge of current Health & Social Care curriculum requirements
